I tried it the other day but I couldn't get it to work. It was silly early in the morning though
Well I had tried it before to no avail too. Obviously it only works for 100% wool. This time I soaked both ends in water, and overlapped them by about 1.5 inches, and then rubbed them between my hands for a minute or two. Then I tested it by trying to pull them appart - nothing happened!
It looked a bit messy, and you could feel it was denser (as it was double thickness) but it looked the same thickness and once I had knitted it up I couldn't find it again. I'm going to have a poke at it now its had over night to dry out... if I can find it!
